Motte is a studio for the art of hosting.

Motte's creative direction and production are led in-house in Los Angeles, where design and craftsmanship come together on an intimate scale. Founded by Jessie Bearden and Emily Susman, two friends with a love for hosting. 

The name Motte comes from the French phrase for a mound of butter - a nod to the richness, warmth, and the pleasure of things well-made and well-shared.
